Hello! I’m Lakia Works. My journey to Fairview began in 2013, and since then, this community has become the heart of my family’s life. Raising my daughter, Zora, here with my husband, Byron, has deepened my passion for protecting the unique charm that makes our town so special.
Service is my lifelong calling. From volunteering in local outreach to serving five years on the Planning and Zoning Commission, I’ve dedicated myself to ensuring our growth is thoughtful and aligned with our long-term vision.
My professional background leading strategic initiatives at Workday allows me to bring a disciplined, collaborative, and transparent approach to my work on the Town Council.
